StockSight ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have over that information when you use our stock analysis platform at StockSight.

We have deliberately built StockSight with a minimal data footprint. We collect only what is strictly necessary to operate the service.

We collect only one piece of personal information:

• Email address — provided automatically when you sign in via Google OAuth. No other personal information (such as your name, phone number, or profile photo) is stored in our systems.

Your email address is used exclusively for the following purposes:

• Authentication — to identify your account and maintain your session securely across visits.
• Subscription management — to associate your account with a subscription status, if applicable.
• Internal user counting — to measure how many users are actively using StockSight. This is used only as an internal metric and is never disclosed externally.

We do not use your email address for marketing, advertising, or any purpose beyond those listed above.

We use the following third-party services to operate StockSight:

• Google Firebase Authentication — handles the Google OAuth sign-in flow and securely manages user sessions. Google may process your email address as part of this authentication process, subject to Google's own Privacy Policy.
• Google Firestore — stores your email address and account data (subscription status) in a secure, cloud-hosted database operated by Google.

These providers act as data processors on our behalf. We do not grant them permission to use your data for their own purposes beyond providing the services we require.

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information with any third party — including advertisers, analytics providers, or data brokers — under any circumstances.

The only exceptions are the service providers described in Section 04, who are contractually required to protect your data and use it only as directed by us.

We do not send newsletters, promotional emails, product announcements, or any other unsolicited communications. The only emails you may receive from us are transactional notifications that are strictly necessary for your account or subscription — such as a receipt or a subscription confirmation.

We take reasonable measures to protect the information we store. Your account data is stored using Google Firebase and Firestore, which provides industry-standard security controls including encryption at rest and in transit, access control, and monitoring.

While we take these precautions, no system is completely immune to security risks. We encourage you to use a strong Google account password and enable two-factor authentication on your Google account for additional protection.

You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. To request deletion of your StockSight account and all associated data, contact us at the email address below.

Upon receiving a verified deletion request, we will permanently remove your email address and account record from our systems within 30 days. Please note that deletion is irreversible and will result in immediate loss of access to any active subscription.

StockSight is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has created an account, please contact us at the email above and we will promptly delete the account and any associated data.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of StockSight after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
